After studying fine art and graphic design, I had a career as an art director and illustrator

winning many national and international awards.

I spent two years rebuilding a 32ft yacht that I use as my floating studio.

I paint and draw on location trying to capture transitory moments of light and atmosphere.

My paintings are a synthesis of sketchbook drawings and memory, expressing the

visual poetry that resonates within the bounds of my past and present.

To express that in my own languaage and to acknowledge the beauty in the world around

us and to let my paintings be a refuge from the everyday tribulations and to celebrate nature

is my raison d'etre.
